Some background on Pru
I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 40. It was not unexpected - when I saw the list of symptoms a few years ago I thought "that's me", but in true ADHD fashion never got around to having the tests. When a friend mentioned a local psychologist who specialized in add/ADHD I finally got my act together & went along for the tests.
My professional background is in information technology and I live in Australia with my dog.

Please note that I am not a medical practitioner and I do not provide medical advice.

I realize now in retrospect that my entire family has add/ADHD - this includes both parents and all my siblings to some degree. Some of my siblings are willing to at least consider the idea, but others think that it is a load of rubbish.
The reactions of a few friends to my diagnosis has been interesting. Some just say "I'm happy you feel better now", while others just say "there's nothing wrong with you anyway". You can check out my blog (where I am trying to keep a bit of a diary) if you want.
